GOGORO Philippines, a leader in electric mobility and battery-swapping technology, is gearing up for a nationwide expansion following its successful debut in December 2023.

"We are very bullish about the potential of our scooters in this market such that we're looking at expanding geographically in the different parts of the country, and looking forward to a Visayas and Mindanao expansion for the balance of the year," said Bernie Llamzon, president and chief executive officer of Gogoro Philippines.

The company has introduced two postpaid energy plans, catering to diverse customer needs. Plan 799 offers a 300 ampere-hour allocation, granting a range of up to 420 kilometers on a single charge. Plan 999 offers an even larger 500 ampere-hour allocation, extending the range to 700 kilometers.

With a strong emphasis on technological innovation and customer satisfaction, Gogoro Philippines has garnered positive feedback since its local introduction.

"We've received very good acceptance and feedback from the customers that have initially availed of these high-end scooters," said Llamzon.

Customers have praised the intelligent and advanced features of Gogoro Smartscooters, distinguishing them from traditional two-wheelers. The comfort of riding and the ease of charging have also been highlighted as significant selling points, contributing to the brand's rapid market growth.

To support the growing number of scooters on the roads, Gogoro has strategically placed Gogoro GoStations across key locations in Metro Manila. These battery-swapping stations offer convenient and accessible charging solutions, ensuring seamless and efficient commuting experiences for Gogoro scooter users.

Currently, six stations are operational, including two in UP Town Center and White Plains Quezon City. Additional stations, such as those at Ayala Malls Feliz in Marikina, Paseo de Magallanes in Makati, and multiple Sea Oil petrol stations along major routes, will soon be ready for service.
